Rt Revd Lynne Cullens

Lynne is the Bishop of Barking in the Diocese of Chelmsford, a role she took up in early 2022. Prior to that she was in parish ministry in both Crewe and Stockport, having been ordained following a career in the charity/housing and local authority sectors. She has had a life-long love of animals and the natural world, and is a supporter of several animal charities. For some years she and her family lived on a small-holding with pigs, sheep, geese and chickens, in addition to two dogs, a cat and three children under 6. She found she wasn’t cut out for farming and has now been happily vegetarian for many years!
