Animals Angels
Animals Angels was founded by Christa Blanke and her husband Michael - both Lutheran priests. Christa left the ministry after years of fruitless struggle trying to persuade the Lutheran Church to recognise cruelty to all species as abhorrent. Today, Animals Angels are based in Germany and their primary concern is long distance transport of farm animals for slaughter. This dedicated group of people follow and monitor the long journeys endured by animals across Europe trying to ensure that regulations regarding rest, feeding and watering are adhered to. The day to day running of the organisation is looked after by Administrative Director - Anita Hess. Please remember this organisation in your prayers and financially if you are able.
