Animal Welfare Sunday
ASWA promoted the introduction of a Sunday devoted to Animal Welfare which has been widely adopted. Animal Welfare Sunday is always the nearest Sunday to St Francistide (4th October). In 2013, Animal Welfare sunday is Sunday 6th October.

Last year our chosen theme was companion animals, particularly dogs and cats.
