Animal Welfare Sunday
ASWA promoted the introduction of a Sunday devoted to Animal Welfare which has been widely adopted. Animal Welfare Sunday is always the nearest Sunday to St Francistide (4th October).
We produce supporting resources to help those involved in services
This year, Animal Welfare Sunday is on Sunday 7th October 2012. Our chosen theme will be looking at the welfare issues surrounding companion animals, particularly dogs and cats. Our speaker at our AGM this year will be Paul Davis of Doris Banham Dog Rescue which will be linked to our theme.
