UNITED STATES OF AMERICA - Mother Rebecca Dinovo
Rebecca lives in St. Louis where she serves a parish full time. She is involved with the Episcopal Network for Animal Welfare which encourages churches to become more “animal friendly” by holding an annual Blessing of the Animals service, offering pastoral support and care to those experiencing the loss or illness of a pet, supporting individuals involved in animal welfare ministries, and by offering vegetarian options at community meals. She has been involved for the past several years with General Convention, advocating for animal welfare concerns issues in the wider church. She sees her faith and animal welfare concerns as interlinked, being called as Christians to be good stewards of all God’s creation and all God’s creatures
